I want a Web site but am not sure where to begin, what do I do?
Understand that the more time and effort you spend planning your site, the more likely you are to have excellent results. It is important to know who your primary audience will be, understand what they want, how they will find you, and convey relevant information effectively. Also, think about how you would like the web site to look. We always suggest taking a look at your competitors and other Web sites which have characteristics you appreciate in order to incorporate them into your unique style. Drafting an outline on paper is always a good idea. The most effective websites are developed with clients that are intimately involved with their project. How long does it take to complete a Web site?
It really depends on the features, how many pages, images, whether it's database driven etc. If your site is 10 pages or less the design itself only takes a few days, we are always about 2 to 3 weeks ahead working on projects. So as long as we have your page contents we can start on your project and have it completed within 3 weeks on average, but if it's a much bigger project you can expect it to be a few months.
How Often can I make changes
During the actual design phase we will show you work in progress so you can recommend changes to your site before we are complete. (This does hold limitations based on how many times you want to make drastic changes.) If you are looking for monthly changes to your site, we have a maintenance plan to fit your needs
How Much will it cost
We have several packages to choose from. Please see our "Packages" page for a list of prices. There are some ongoing expenses including domain registration/renewals and hosting and any additional work you may want on a monthly basis. however, once your site is completed it is up to you if you want it updated with new information.
